Strascheg Award

  • by

We are delighted that AidMax was nominated for this year’s Strascheg Award 2025 at Munich University of Applied Sciences The award is one of Germany’s most important honors for startup projects and recognizes ideas that break new ground with courage, creativity and responsibility. That also perfectly describes our mission: to promote mental health through technological innovation and give people hope. 🌱

An Award for Bold Visions

The Strascheg Award honors teams each year that tackle social challenges with new ideas. For us, being nominated was already a special recognition. Taking part gave us the opportunity to connect with inspiring founders from across Germany who are working on social, sustainable and innovative solutions. It was especially moving to see how many projects focus on mental health, mindfulness and humanity. These themes are also at the core of AidMax and show just how important collective commitment can be.

Although AidMax did not win the award this year, taking part was a major success for us, as we were selected as one of six nominees from 75 submitted projects. We made valuable connections, received honest feedback and gained many new perspectives. Every encounter motivated us to continue developing AidMax and to further advance our vision of accessible, empathetic AI support for young people.

The Atmosphere of the Evening

The award ceremony took place in the main hall of Munich University of Applied Sciences. From the moment we entered the room, there was a special energy in the air. Everywhere, young people were standing together, believing in their ideas and working passionately to shape the future. The audience included founders, professors, students, investors and supporters. On stage, emotional presentations, inspiring stories and enthusiastic faces followed one another. When the AidMax team was introduced, the excitement was immense. Our AidMax logo appeared on the screen, alongside our green mascot with a heart on its chest, a symbol of empathy and hope.

The response from the audience was very positive. Many visitors were interested in AidMax’s combination of psychological research and artificial intelligence, which makes the project unique. The connection between social impact and technological innovation was especially well received. These conversations showed us that AidMax is addressing a topic that truly resonates with the times.

Connections and Exchange

One of the most rewarding parts was sharing our vision on stage and seeing how many people are passionate about mental health and social innovation. We met other teams developing solutions for PMS, sustainable education platforms and creative community projects. This diversity was incredibly inspiring and showed us how strongly Munich’s startup scene is shaped by collaboration and mutual support.

A big thank you goes to the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE) for the excellent organization and professional support throughout the event. SCE is a place where ideas can grow and people are given the opportunity to turn their visions into reality. It brings together courage, research and creativity to actively shape the future. 💡

The Photos of the Evening

The photos from the Strascheg Award 2025 perfectly capture the atmosphere of the evening. The first image shows the colorful nominee logo, whose brain-shaped design symbolizes creativity, knowledge and new ways of thinking. It reflects the spirit of innovation that could be felt throughout the event. The second image shows our AidMax team in front of the stage. Everyone is wearing the white shirts with the distinctive pink and green heart symbol. You can see the joy, pride and shared excitement of being part of this special evening. In the background, the room is filled with people, conversations and projects, all united by one thing: the desire to make a difference.

The third image shows our AidMax mascot on a poster with the words “Nominated for the Strascheg Award.” It reminds us how far AidMax has come since the very first concept ideas. It stands for perseverance, hope and the belief that innovation can serve humanity. Each photo tells its own story of community, creativity and the joy of bringing people together around a shared vision.

What We Learned from the Strascheg Award

Taking part in the Strascheg Award 2025 was an inspiring and enriching experience for us. We came away with renewed motivation, new connections and valuable insights that will help us continue developing AidMax. The evening showed us that technology is at its strongest when it brings people together and gives them hope. That is exactly what AidMax stands for, an AI that listens, understands and encourages people to keep going.
